More Christmas Photo Shoot Pictures...

We should not have fed him right before the pictures :)

We absolutely adore this kid!

Looking for Santa's sleigh

He found it!

Not sure what to think!
Brady is 17 weeks now, unbelievable! He is so much fun. He has learned to make noises and talks to us all the time. David and I are working very hard for him to say "mama" or "dada" first. The race is on....
He is still sleeping through the night, which is such a blessing! He takes good naps during the day, but wants to be held or in his swing. He rolls from his tummy to back very well, but we are still working on from back to tummy. He rubs his eyes when he is sleepy and we read Goodnight Moon every night and say our prayers together.
I am working part time now, which is working out so well for our family. It allows me to be home with Brady the majority of the time, but also lets me get out of the house and go to my job that I absolutely love.
The dogs are adjusting to Brady very well. Brady was petting Rambo the other day. It was very cute. I have to keep an eye on Rambo and Lilly because they both like to lick his hands and that is very gross considering Brady likes to put his fist in his mouth now.
Santa will be working hard over the next few weeks to ensure Brady gets a wonderful first Christmas!
We are so blessed to have this little guy in our life!

Rambo is still there...

We could not believe that he could already sit up in his Bumbo seat!

Brady's First Thanksgiving...

Brady had a great first Thanksgiving. He spent the afternoon at his Aunt Kathy's house (David's side) where he was happy and social. He has three cousins to play with over there: Torin is 6, Caroline is 9 months, and Will was 2 weeks. He definitely had plenty of attention :)
He spent the evening at Mimi and Papa Whitson's house. Merrick could not be there, but Lilli and Blake were there. He ended up sleeping the whole time in his travel swing, so no one really got to play with him or see his cute smile.

14 Weeks....

Brady has learned to fold his hands together, it is sooo cute! He looks like such a little gentleman. He loves his play gym and just moves all around when the lights and music are going. He is still not a fan of tummy time, but since he needs that to get strong, David and I have decided to let him do tummy time while he is laying on us. This has worked so far.

We have a new addition to our house. We adopted Lilly (I know, it's confusing for us too, but she answers to her name so we could not change it!) from a lady at work. She is a black chihuahua who looks like she could be Rambo's sister. Our house is very busy now and have reached our canine limit since we now have three.

We are so excited for Christmas and I can't wait to get the decorations out next week. Brady has a really cute stocking and we are searching for the perfect Baby's First Christmas ornament.

12 Weeks Tomorrow...

First of all, I know I have not done the best job with this blog~I will definitely be better about it! Things should be slowing down in my life shortly and that will free up more time for me to blog :)

Brady is the most amazing kid in the world. He is happy and laid back like his Dad (which is what I prayed for!) and has the most amazing smile in the world. Everyone told me that my life would change incredibly when he was born, but I had no clue what they meant until he was actually here.

We are looking forward to the holidays with him. Halloween was fun and he was so good. He just rolled along in the stroller and slept most of the night away. This Thanksgiving he will still only get to enjoy formula, but he already has a cute outfit and a cute bib, so that will be good. And Christmas will be unbelievable with this little guy around.

A lot of people ask how Roxie and Rambo are doing with him and things are going great. They really could care less that he is around, so they pretty much ignore him. I'm glad they have each other to keep themselves entertained because I have not been too attentive to them lately!

We just pray that we are the best parents to him because he deserves it.

Thursday is the Day...

Over the past few days, my feet and legs have become extremely swollen. After Rachel's horrible experience with eclampsia last year, we were definitely alarmed by this. We noticed that my blood pressure was getting very high (Rachel let us borrow her home cuff) and went to the doctor again today. She confirmed that I am in the danger zone and wanted to induce me ASAP. So, we are going to the hospital at 1 am on Thursday to meet our little guy! Please keep us in your prayers!

37 Weeks...

Well today marks us at 37 weeks, which means Brady is officially considered full term. We go to the doctor this afternoon and are praying that he will talk to us about inducing labor sometime this week. I have had a lot of trouble sleeping due to my back and hips hurting so bad and the past few days my feet have become extremely swollen. So...please pray that the doctor agrees with us and we have our little guy here this week!

36 Weeks...

The doctor has lifted some of my bed rest restrictions, so that has been a huge blessing. I have been able to leave the house and go out and experience the real world again, yay! Here are just some pictures from my showers. Hopefully Brady will be here soon and we can put up his pictures then :)

One picture is sideways, but I can't figure out how to fix it, so just tilt you head :)
