Memorial Day was very busy and a lot of fun! We started out by going over to Granny Long's house. Brady was able to play with his cousins Torin, Caroline, and Will over there. We enjoyed mainly good weather, but it was pretty humid, so we came inside a lot.
After that, we headed over to Papa and Mimi's. Brady was able to play with Haley, Lilli, and Blake over there. This kid has a lot of cousins! Rachel's kids went swimming, but it was too cold for Brady's first swim. We are hoping Sunday is the day, it is supposed to be 84!
In other news, Brady has learned to wave bye-bye and give kisses. He only does these things when he feels like it, so it is pretty random still. He also likes our bed and keeps managing to take over. He is a little guy that takes up a lot of room!
We are so excited for summer and have birthday plans already in the works. David is going to take off on his birthday, so we can spend the day together and the next day is his pirate party! Earlier in the week we have a photo shoot scheduled with the same photographer that did his 6 month pictures. We are going to Bonbonniere for his cake to eat on his birthday and we have an awesome cake lady designing his party cake! We are very excited!!!

Mother's Day...

Okay, let me start by saying I did not get a lot of sleep the night before Mother's Day and I have to be at work at 7 am. Having said that, please excuse the hair and the exhausted look on my face.
Mother's Day was great besides that. David and Brady came to see me at work. We attempted to attend the 10 am celebration together (we usually go to 11:40), but it was not good because it hit Brady's nap time. But, they brought me Starbucks and flowers which was great. After they left church, David and Brady visited with his Mom until I got off work.
I beat them home by about 20 minutes and it hit me that I can count on one hand the number of times that I have been in our house alone since I became a Mom. It was very weird being there withought the little man. I had a card waiting for me. David wrote it from Brady, but Brady did scribble on it. I knew I was a Mom when I was so proud of that little scribble! The card was a gift certificate for a mani/pedi (which I got on Tuesday) and for David to do whatever I wanted for 24 hours. There was a pair of Ugg flip flops that David had made in the card. I thought it was a joke because I had already gotten my mani/pedi, but later he told me that they would be arriving soon. He had a hard time finding the shoes I wanted, so they were a few days behind. For anyone that does not have Ugg flip flops, I highly recommend them! They are like walking around in slippers all day.
After we hung out for awhile and fell asleep from exhaustion, we headed over to my Mom's. We picked up Haley and met Rachel and her family there. We had taco salad and dessert. It was good. We are looking forward to Father's Day over there because the pool will be open!
I am very blessed to be a mommy and have loved every second of it!

Almost at 9 Months...

Brady has decided that he will no longer be wearing bibs. He even managed to take one off that buttoned rather than velcroed. I have no idea how...

Just Because I Love These Pictures...

Brady managed to get David's hat and was quite amused. He loves his Daddy!
